GSR Rural Services is a family owned and operated rural business situated in Mt Barker in the great southern area of WA, employing 5 staff members with the focus on companion animals, fencing, water and irrigation. Our family has lived in this town for over 50 years and know the district well.
GSR Rural Services stock produce for Sheep, Cattle, Horse, Poultry, Dogs, Cats, Alpacas, Pigs, Kangaroo, Emu, Camel, Rabbit & Guinea Pig, as well as a huge range of Bird Seeds.

Our water fitting range is second to none in the town, and specialise in fitting out most clients needs with poly, PVC, brass, retic and galvanised fittings along with pipe, tanks and troughs.

We are also the Toll freight depot in Mt Barker so a lot of the towns freight comes through our store making us a central point of distribution even for our competitors.

Based on the old emporium style local store, where customer service is paramount not just lip service as many retailers think is the same, personalised service because we care, because it’s our business, where we know our clients, we know our products, put back into the community through sponsorship and participation in local events and are a genuine and truly independent rural service.
My wife and I own the business and make the decisions, sometimes on the spot, not restricted by corporate rules, what is best for our customers comes first, and nothing is too hard to cater to clients requirements. With access to a myriad of suppliers-not-used we can source virtually any product you need.
