<p>Over the years we have found solutions to countless challenges on our sheep & cropping farm on the Eyre peninsula in South Australia. One problem was crutching sheep in the paddock or yards with a 12V handpiece and having to drag sheep to the motorbike or ute to crutch them. We wanted an easy to use portable solution with no cord to get tangled in. After finding nothing available in Australia, we tested many units, but only one had the reliability and simplicity we wanted. We then collaborated with the manufacturer to fine tune these units for our harsh Australian conditions and the Mobishear was born!</p> <p>We continue to improve our units and pride ourselves on our backup service. In 1950, we entered the livestock identification business in Australia by introducing the first plastic ear tags for sheep.</p> <p>By 1956, we had established ourselves as the predominant supplier of tags to the Australian and New Zealand sheep industries. In the 1960s, we ventured into the production of cattle tags, culminating in our patenting our own two-piece ear tag in the 1980s. Since then, we have been instrumental in incorporating technology into all types of livestock identification tags, making us a recognised world leader in this arena.</p> <p>We are solely Australian owned and operated. As well as having a branch in New Zealand, we have extensive overseas representation in Europe, North America, South America, Asia and Africa.
